Parent Support

As our name implies, Thorns is at the heart of the local community and has been for over 50 years. We aim to forge a strong partnership between school and home to ensure that every child achieves their full potential. Given the tumultuous events of the Covid 19 pandemic, we recognise the strain this has placed on children but also on parents and carers as well.

The doors are always open for parents at Thorns and we invite you to get in touch if you need additional support either for your child or for yourself.

The Children and Families team and Family Information Service in Warwickshire offers a variety of support, advice, courses and information. You can contact them directly using - 0800 408 1558 or 01926 742274 or via their different channels.

Trained staff in school can talk you through the support on offer in Warwickshire and can help signpost you to the right people. Staff are also trained in providing more bespoke Early Help plans which aim to offer the right support at the right time to help children, parents and their families.
